Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our connectivity, installations, and how we work. Don't see what you're looking for? Get in touch.
What areas do you cover?
Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, and the wider Garden Route. We do site visits and installations across the region. If you're not sure if we cover your area, get in touch — we'll let you know.
Do I need fibre to be installed in my area first?
For fibre, yes — the line needs to reach your area. If fibre isn't available, we offer 5G and LTE wireless internet, which works almost anywhere there's cellular coverage. Contact us with your address and we'll let you know what's available.
How much does fibre cost?
It depends on the package and provider. We work with multiple fibre operators and choose the right one for your needs. After a site survey, we'll quote you with options — typically ranging from entry-level home packages to high-speed business connections.
Do you charge for site surveys?
No. Site surveys are free and there's no obligation. We come out, look at your property, understand what you need, and give you an honest quote.
How long does fibre installation take?
It varies. The actual install in your home is usually a couple of hours. The line being run to your property by the fibre network operator can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the area. We'll give you a realistic timeframe upfront.
Do you supply the router, or do I bring my own?
Either works. We typically supply and configure a router as part of the install — that way we can support it properly. If you've got your own equipment you want to use, we'll work with that too.
What's "Premium Managed Wi-Fi"?
Optional upgrade for properties that need serious coverage — large homes, guest houses, business premises. We deploy enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points and manage them remotely, so when something goes wrong we can usually fix it without a callout.
Can you install CCTV at the same time as fibre?
Absolutely. One install, one team, one bill. Most properties benefit from having networking and security designed together — saves you on cabling and labour costs.
Do you support businesses?
Yes. Many of our clients are small to medium businesses across the Garden Route. We do business fibre, VoIP phone systems, business Wi-Fi, network security, and ongoing IT support (via The Computer Guy).
What about VoIP — can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes, in most cases. Number porting is part of the VoIP setup. The process takes a few weeks but you can run both systems in parallel during the transition.
What are your business hours?
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. We don't respond outside business hours or on public holidays, but feel free to leave a WhatsApp or voice message and we'll get back to you on the next business day.
How do I get a quote?
Three ways: 1) Use the contact form on this site, 2) WhatsApp us, or 3) call us. We'll book a site survey, do the survey, and quote you — usually same-day after the survey.
