Order Starter or order on WhatsAppFast wireless internet for homes, farms, smallholdings and holiday homes where fibre hasn't reached — and a backup line for businesses that can't afford downtime. Plettenberg Bay, Knysna and rural Bitou.
Starting from only R599 pm
Type your address or drop a pin. We check fibre at the same time — where fibre reaches, it is usually the better line — and show what the free signal survey will confirm for MTN and Telkom.
5G and LTE depend on the tower, band and antenna at your property, so no map can promise a speed. We measure MTN and Telkom at your address for free before you commit — the check below tells you where you stand and books the survey with the address filled in.
"Uncapped" LTE in South Africa always carries a monthly fair-use allowance; after it, speed is reduced until month-end. Same price on MTN 5G/LTE or Telkom LTE — the signal survey decides the carrier. Per month, VAT included, month-to-month.

Ask for a quoteMTN 5G requires an MTN-approved 5G router — R2 499 once-off — and 5G coverage at the address; otherwise the same package runs on LTE with a standard router. Router configured by us; outdoor antenna or mast quoted after the survey. RICA (ID + proof of address) before activation.
Uncapped Octotel or Openserve fibre with a free router and free installation is the better line where it's available. We check your address for both.
The Crags, Kurland, Wittedrift, Harkerville, Rondebos, the N2 farms, Nature's Valley and most of rural Bitou.
No fixed-term contract, active in days, and we can put it on hold between seasons.
An LTE line on a MikroTik or UniFi gateway that takes over automatically when fibre drops.
LTE now, swap to fibre later — the Wi-Fi network stays.
Before we quote we do a free signal survey (RSRP / RSRQ / SINR on both MTN and Telkom) and recommend the carrier and router that actually work at your address. Where an indoor router won't cut it we fit an outdoor antenna or a MikroTik LHG.
We see signal quality and usage on every line we install, and warn you before you hit your fair-use allowance.
Performance depends on the tower, the band and the antenna at your property — not on the package. So our own technicians measure MTN and Telkom at your address, pick the carrier and router that actually work, and fit an outdoor antenna where an indoor unit won't cut it. Then we watch the line from Plett, 24/7.
With poor signal no package will help — and we'll tell you so.
Book a free signal survey ›MTN 5G covers parts of central Plettenberg Bay and Knysna; coverage thins quickly outside town. We test at your address before recommending 5G — if 5G isn't there yet, the same package runs on LTE and we upgrade the router later. MTN 5G requires an MTN-approved 5G router, which we supply at R2 499 once-off; LTE runs on a standard LTE router.
Vektro Networks' uncapped 5G/LTE tiers start at R599 per month for Starter (150 GB fair-use allowance) and go up to R1 299 for Max+ (1 000 GB). The price is the same on MTN or Telkom, includes VAT and the router set-up, and there is no fixed-term contract. Capped packages for holiday homes and backup lines are quoted after the signal survey.
A couple working from home with streaming in the evenings uses 300–450 GB a month. A holiday home used a few weeks a year is usually better on a capped package. We look at real usage on our monitoring platform after the first month and move you to the right tier.
Yes, if the signal is good — that is what the survey is for. With SINR above about 10 dB, an LTE line comfortably carries Teams, Zoom, cloud backup and streaming. With poor signal no package will help, and we will tell you so.
Yes. We configure automatic failover on a MikroTik or UniFi gateway so the office stays online when fibre drops. Many of our business clients run exactly this.
Whichever tower gives you the better signal at your address. Telkom's large capped allocations are good value for high-usage rural sites; MTN has the wider 5G footprint. We carry both.
