Is fibre available at my address in Plettenberg Bay?

How much does fibre cost in Plettenberg Bay?
Vektro Networks' Octotel fibre starts at R699 per month for 25/25 Mbps uncapped and goes up to R1 999 for 1000/200 Mbps; Openserve fibre starts at R599 for 30/30 Mbps and goes up to R1 999 for 500/250 Mbps. All prices include VAT and a free-to-use Wi-Fi router, on Octotel the installation is free too, and there is no fixed-term contract. Which network you can get depends on your address.
Is there an installation fee?
No. On Vektro fibre the Octotel installation to your house, the Wi-Fi router and the router set-up are all free. You pay only your first (pro-rata) month.
How long does a fibre installation take?
Once your order is confirmed, most installations happen within a few working days, depending on the network and the infrastructure at your address. After a site survey we'll give you a clear timeline.
What if fibre isn't available where I live yet?
No problem — we also offer 5G and LTE wireless internet, which is often a great alternative where fibre hasn't reached yet. Send us your address and we'll recommend the best option for your area.
Do you provide the router and set up Wi-Fi?
Yes. We supply the router and set up your Wi-Fi properly — and for larger homes or businesses we design whole-property coverage so you get a strong signal everywhere, not just near the router.
Who do I call if something goes wrong?
